Tips from the Pros Tuesday: DJs and Dining Alternatives

Sit Down Dining Alternative

By Patrick Bryant of Vintner Grill

If a four-course sit down dinner is not what you want or in your budget, think outside the box and consider an hors d’oeuvres type of reception. Done the right way, you can still wow your guests and get much more diversity, uniqueness and often some upgraded options for both food and drinks. Think gourmet flat breads, seafood stations, or a beautiful fromage and carne selection elegantly tray passed as you mingle with guests.

Meet Your DJ in Person

By Mike Susara of High Flyin’ Entertainment

Be sure to meet the DJ who is performing at your reception. It is important when you meet that person to sit down with them and make sure you have a rapport together. Also, be sure they are familiar with your tastes in music. On your wedding day, you don’t want to be blindsided by someone who doesn’t get you or won’t work well with you.
