Former First Daughter Celebrates Her Engagement

While she has remained relatively quiet and out of the spotlight since the end of the Clinton Administration back in the year 2001, the image of the frizzy-haired girl with braces has remained etched in my mind. She’s grown from the nation’s former first daughter into a successful & beautiful woman who is now a first-time-bride-to-be.
It was just before Thanksgiving when investment banker, Marc Mezvinky, proposed to former first daughter, Chelsea Clinton. The two met a while back when they were both living in Washington, D.C. and rekindled that friendship while attending Stanford.

Hitting the wire was an email announcement of their engagement:
“We’re sorry for the mass email but we wanted to wish everyone a belated Happy Thanksgiving! We also wanted to share that we are engaged! We didn’t get married this past summer despite the stories to the contrary, but we are looking toward next summer and hope you all will be there to celebrate with us. Happy Holidays! Chelsea & Marc.”

While details of both the proposal and the ring remain mum, Mrs. Clinton is happy to speak out on her new title: “I am officially an MOTB: a mother of the bride,” Clinton said Friday in an interview with CNN’s John Roberts. “And I am very excited about it.”
Will the nuptials be a large, grand affair? According to the newest MOTB, they will be on a more intimate scale.

I don’t know about you, but this is one girl who is dying to see the ring!
